La clase de Sra. Yurkovich

¡Hola! My name is Sara Yurkovich.  I have been teaching Spanish for 11 years.  I am originally from Kansas City and went to college at Truman State University.  I earned my Bachelor's of Arts in Spanish and my Masters of Art in Elementary Education.  I then taught Spanish in a 5th and 6th grade for a year.  I then spent many years teaching high school Spanish before transitioning to Immaculate Conception.  I have a husband, two kids, and a cat.  I love baking, playing games, watching tv, and spending time with family and friends.

 

My goal in Spanish is to create an appreciation for the Spanish language and culture. Kindergarten through 5th grade will do this with a new Spanish-speaking country per quarter.  6th - 8th grade will be doing this by completing a Spanish 1 curriculum.  I have traveled to Costa Rica, Spain, and Peru and love to share all my experiences with students.
