Good morning,
Today...
1) Go back to formative and look to see if there are comments on WS 6.3 Homework Practice. Some of you missed some questions, look at the correct answers and try to figure out what you did wrong. Do not start this WS until you are sure you understand your mistakes. Everyone that sent me a picture of your work, I responded with whether or not it was good or if you had mistakes. Your work could look great, but you still could have made a mistake with multiplying or dividing the numbers and get the answer wrong. So, go back over the answers. Analyze your work and why you might have done it incorrectly. Then you may start this WS. Do not start this WS until you have sent me a picture of your work from last Wednesday.
2) When you are finished with today's assignment, email me a picture of your work, just like you did before. DO NOT upload it to google classroom. Email it to me. Put "6.3 Skills Practice" or 6.3 SP in the subject line.
3) Today's homework is WS 6.3 Skills Practice, it is graded on accuracy and due 5/5 at 8 pm

Good morning,
Today we are going to practice lesson 6.3.
To Do:
1) Go back to formative for pg. 461. Look at your answers, look at any comments I might have made. For those of you who finished the assignment, I am sending you a picture of my work....your work should look just like my work. If we were at school, this is how you would be doing it in class. You will need to remember this for next year....we will be starting with this information in the fall.
****If you have NOT completed pg. 461 yet, do that first. Then email me to tell me you are done so I can check your work and then I will send the picture of my work.
2) Homework is WS 6.3 Homework Practice. In order to get credit, you need to email me a picture of your work for this assignment. Label it Homework Practice. It is on formative and graded on completion and due 4/30 by 8 pm.

Good morning,
Today we are moving onto section 3. You will be solving equations, but this time fractions and decimals are involved.
To do:
1) I want you to watch the 2 videos I sent you as well as watch the tutoring videos that go with our book. Watch the one from Mrs. Workman first and then the ones from Mr. Hardesty and Mr. Rutherford. You do not need to watch the word problem ones unless you want to.
2) Watch the two videos I have included. Take notes, watch them more than once if you need to.
3) AFTER you have watched all of those videos I have included a google slide presentation that I made with my notes. Read the slides, do the examples. They are from your book if you want to follow along there.
4) Your homework tonight is on formative, it is from pg. 461 #1-6. You will need to show your work in formative. If you have any questions at all about if you are doing this correctly or not, please ask me. It is so much easier to help you through it the first time instead of having to go back and redo the work. In your answers, leave your fractions as improper fractions, but make sure they are simplified. 3/2 is ok but 6/4 is not.
5) Reach out to me if you need help today!!!!!!!! That is what I am here for!!!!!!
6) Pg. 461 #1-6 is due Tuesday 4/28 by 8pm, it is graded on completion.

Hi everyone,
Mrs. Reckamp's birthday is Thursday and Mrs. Wessler set up this flip grid for you to wish her a happy birthday. She would love to hear from you, more directions are in the link. If you choose to do it, have it done by Wednesday! It looks like it is for Mrs. Wessler's class since she set it up.
Thanks and miss you!!!!!

Good morning,
Today I need you to go back and look at pg. 451 on formative. I have commented on your answers and marked them correct. If you didn't show your work properly, I asked you to make corrections.. Please make sure you have done pg. 451 first and that I have commented (in formative) that your work looks good. Even if you have the wrong answer, I told you if your work was correct. After you have looked over pg. 451 and after you are sure you are showing your work correctly, then you may start on today's assignment. If you still have to correct pg. 451, do that first and then email me and tell me you are ready for me to look at pg. 451. If you do not show your work correctly, I am going to make you redo this worksheet. It is quicker to do this correctly in the first place than to have to redo it. I will be at my computer during school hours all day on Monday, it will only take me a minute to be able to check your pg. 451. For most of you, I have already checked it.
Today's homework: It is on formative. It is WS 6.2 Homework Practice
1) YOU MUST SHOW YOUR WORK! You will need to do the assignment over again if you don't show your work properly. Re-watch the videos I sent to you last week if you need to. Go look at the examples in your book or watch the tutor links from our book.
2) Read the directions in formative. If you do not follow the directions, you will have to redo the work.
3) When you are done, take a picture of your work and email it to me. You must send me this email in order to get credit for this assignment.
4) This is due on Tuesday, April 21st at 8pm. It is graded on completion.

Good morning,
We are going to continue Chapter 6 today. It is EXTREMELY important that you show your work just like they show you in the videos that I will include for you today. Please notice that the videos, and all of the examples you will see today show the work the SAME way. I know the math isn't difficult. Remember, this chapter is about learning how to show your work. We MUST make good habits now with the easy problems, so that we will know how to solve the more difficult problems. In Formative, you will only have 6 problems, but you will need to show your work in formative. Keep an eye on formative and your email. I will mark your answers correct if your work is shown properly, and I will email you if you need to redo it. Use your mouse as best as you can to "write" the problems. Make sure your work looks JUST like the work in the examples and in the videos. When you need to show multiplication, you may use the dot or you may use ( ). However, DO NOT use the x to show multiplication...we can't tell the difference between multiplication and the variable. So, use the dot or ( ).
1) Watch the videos (all of them) take notes, do the examples with them. You might have to stop, pause, or re-watch them. Watch the one called "Ex: Solving one step equations by Mult/Div. Integers" last. This one includes what to do with the negative signs.....important, but best saved for last.
2) Watch the videos (tutor) from our book.
3) Read and take notes on the examples in our book. (By now you should have about 10 problems written in your notebook.)
4) Homework: pg. 451 #1-6, you will find it on goformative. YOU MUST SHOW YOUR WORK in goformative. Use your mouse to "write" the answers. I know the problems are easy....it's about showing your work properly.
5) You may use a calculator if you need one in this entire chapter.

Good morning,
Not everyone has been "finding" my videos and other links I have been sending when I post it as "Material." So to make sure everything is in one place and has a due date and that your parents can see what is due, I will post everything under assignments from now on.
Today...
1) Go back to formative and look to see if there are comments on WS 6.1 Homework Practice. Some of you missed some questions, look at the correct answers and try to figure out what you did wrong. Do not start this WS until you are sure you understand your mistakes. Everyone that sent me a picture of your work, I responded with whether or not it was good or if you had mistakes. Your work could look great, but you still could have made a mistake with adding or subtracting the numbers and get the answer wrong. So, go back over the answers. Analyze your work and why you might have done it incorrectly. Then you may start this WS.
2) When you are finished, email me a picture of your work, just like you did yesterday. DO NOT upload it to google classroom. Email it to me. Put "6.1 Skills Practice" or 6.1 SP in the subject line.
3) Today's homework is WS 6.1 Skills Practice, it is graded on accuracy and due 4/9 at 8 pm
