Meet Mrs. Ellis

My name is Cheryl Ellis and I am excited to be your child's teacher this year.  This is my fifth year teaching preschool at ICD.  I have a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia.  My experience includes 10 years in the Hazelwood School District teaching 5th grade and Kindergarten and 15 years in the Francis Howell School District working as a Parent Educator and teaching Preschool for 4 years.

 

I have been a member of ICD parish for 20 years and my children attended the day school.  I have been married to Michael for 27 years and we have 3 children Nick 25, Kara 22, and Melissa 19.  

 

My goal is to nurture each child and help your child grow in mind, body and spirit. I strive to provide a fun and engaging preschool experience for each student and help them develop a love of learning.
